This list shows stocks on Asian exchanges trading within 5% of their all-time high that did not set a new record today, closest to the record first. These are the candidates for the next all-time high breakout: strong stocks consolidating just below their peak. Many traders set alerts at the all-time high and buy the breakout when it comes. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
