A low float stock has few shares available for trading, so a burst of buying can move the price very fast. Momentum day traders hunt these names on news days. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges with fewer than 20 million float shares that are up more than 10% today on at least 3 times their 21-day average volume and more than 500,000 shares traded, biggest gainers first. Low float stocks move fast in both directions; size positions accordingly.

Screening formula:
exch(tse,hkse,ses,krx,ise) and type(stock) and cvol > 0.5 and float_shares > 0 and float_shares < 20 and chclose > 10 and rvol(21) > 3 and sortby(chclose, desc) and show(float_shares as float_m, rvol(21) as rvol)
