This fund puts at least 80% of its money into stocks that make up or closely mirror a specialized index. That index, created by MSCI, tracks at least 30 gold mining companies operating across both established and developing economies worldwide. Because the fund focuses on a narrow segment of the market, it does not spread its holdings broadly across different industries or sectors.
