Entergy Corporation is a US energy company founded in 1913 and based in New Orleans, Louisiana, that produces and delivers electricity to around 3.1 million homes and businesses across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. The company generates power through a mix of natural gas, nuclear, coal, hydro, and solar sources, with a total generating capacity of roughly 25,000 megawatts. Beyond serving everyday customers, Entergy also sells power in bulk to utilities, cooperatives, and other energy companies, and offers decommissioning services to nuclear plant operators.
