This screen lists stocks on the London Stock Exchange that opened more than 5% above the previous close today, biggest gaps first. Gaps usually follow news released outside trading hours, such as earnings, guidance or a deal. Some gaps keep running as buyers pile in, while others fill as early buyers take profits, so traders watch whether the price holds above the opening range. LSE prices are quoted in pence, and the list skips thinly traded shares.
