This screen lists stocks on European exchanges that opened more than 5% above the previous close today, biggest gaps first. Gaps usually follow news released outside trading hours, such as earnings, guidance or a deal. Some gaps keep running as buyers pile in, while others fill as early buyers take profits, so traders watch whether the price holds above the opening range. Prices are in euros, and the list covers stocks traded on Xetra, Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Milan and the Madrid Stock Exchange with at least 0.5 million euros in average daily trading value.
