Laggards tend to keep lagging. Stocks in the bottom decile of relative strength are the ones to avoid on the long side and the natural candidates for short sellers. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges whose one-year relative strength rank is below 10, weakest first. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
