Lower highs and lower lows are the textbook definition of a downtrend: every rally fails below the last peak and every sell-off breaks the last low. This screen lists stocks on the Toronto Stock Exchange that have just set a new 63-bar low (about three months), whose highest high of the last 21 bars is below the one of the 21 bars before, and whose three-month relative strength is in the bottom 20% of the market, weakest three-month performance first. Short sellers use it to find trends to sell into rallies, and long investors use it as a list to avoid. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the list covers TSX-listed stocks with at least C$1 million in average daily trading value.
