A big price gain on heavy volume shows real demand rather than a drift in a thin market, and such moves often come from earnings, upgrades or breakouts. Strong moves can extend for days, but late entries carry more risk. OTC stocks trade outside the major exchanges and are often thinly traded penny stocks; the list covers US OTC stocks with at least $100,000 in average daily trading value.
