The power play is the one setup Mark Minervini buys without the full Trend Template: an explosive move of 100% or more in about eight weeks, usually on news, followed by a short, tight sideways flag. It is the rarest and often the most powerful pattern on his list. This list shows NYSE and Nasdaq stocks whose 15-bar high is at least twice the 55-bar low, that have since held a range of less than 25% over the last 15 bars, trade within 15% of the flag high and stay above the 50-day moving average, largest run-up first. Penny stocks and illiquid names are excluded.
