Trend-following ETF investors hold only funds in long-term uptrends, a simple rule that has kept many out of the worst bear markets. This screen lists exchange-traded funds on the Toronto Stock Exchange trading above their 200-day moving average, with the 50-day average above the 200-day, the price within 5% of the 52-week high and a six-month gain above 15%, ranked by six-month performance. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the list covers TSX-listed stocks with at least C$1 million in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(tsx) and type(fund) and avol(21) > 0.05 and price > sma(200) and sma(50) > sma(200) and price >= 0.95 * w52high and change(126) > 15 and sortby(change(126), desc) and show(change(126) as change_6m_pct)
