Trend-following ETF investors hold only funds in long-term uptrends, a simple rule that has kept many out of the worst bear markets. This screen lists exchange-traded funds on Asian exchanges trading above their 200-day moving average, with the 50-day average above the 200-day, the price within 5% of the 52-week high and a six-month gain above 15%, ranked by six-month performance. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(tse,hkse,ses,krx,ise) and type(fund) and avol(21) > 0.05 and price > sma(200) and sma(50) > sma(200) and price >= 0.95 * w52high and change(126) > 15 and sortby(change(126), desc) and show(change(126) as change_6m_pct)
