Cup and Handle

India

The cup and handle is William O'Neil's favorite bullish continuation pattern: a rounded base followed by a short, shallow pullback, the handle, before a breakout to new highs. This screen lists stocks on the Bombay Stock Exchange where a cup and handle pattern was identified on one of the last five bars, most actively traded first. Prices are in Indian rupees, and the list covers BSE-listed stocks with at least 50 million rupees in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(bse) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 50 and (cup_handle)@[0..4] and sortby(advol(5), desc) and show(advol(5) as turnover_5d_m)
