The Piotroski F-Score, created by Stanford professor Joseph Piotroski, awards one point for each of nine signs of improving financial health. High scorers among cheap stocks have historically beaten weak ones. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges with a Piotroski F-Score of 8 or 9 out of 9 and a price-to-book ratio below 3, cheapest by price-to-book first. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
