Investors who follow William O'Neil and Investor's Business Daily (IBD) look for stocks with an RS Rating of 80 or higher: stocks whose price performance over the last 12 months beats at least 80% of the market. This screen applies the same idea with MarketInOut's own one-year relative strength rank and lists stocks on Asian exchanges rated above 80, strongest first. It is an independent approximation, not IBD's proprietary RS Rating, which weights the most recent quarter more heavily; MarketInOut is not affiliated with Investor's Business Daily. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
