High-yield stocks pay a large share of their price back to shareholders every year, which makes them popular with income investors. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges with a dividend yield above 5% and a payout ratio below 100%, so the dividend is still covered by earnings, highest yield first. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
