Combining income with trend avoids the classic yield trap: a stock in a long-term uptrend pays its dividend while the price also works in your favor. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges with a dividend yield above 3% that trade above a 200-day moving average that is higher than a month ago, highest yield first. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
