When a dividend stock falls, its yield rises, so buying near the lows locks in a higher income stream. The risk is that the price is falling because the dividend is in danger, so check the payout ratio. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges with a dividend yield above 3% that trade within 10% of their 52-week low, highest yield first. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
