Dividend growth investors prefer companies that raise their payout year after year over the highest current yield, because a growing dividend compounds and usually signals a growing business. This screen lists stocks on the Bombay Stock Exchange with a dividend yield above 1%, five-year dividend yield growth above 5% a year, five-year EPS growth above 5% a year and a payout ratio below 75%. Prices are in Indian rupees, and the list covers BSE-listed stocks with at least 50 million rupees in average daily trading value.
