Dividend growth investors prefer companies that raise their payout year after year over the highest current yield, because a growing dividend compounds and usually signals a growing business. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges with a dividend yield above 1%, five-year dividend yield growth above 5% a year, five-year EPS growth above 5% a year and a payout ratio below 75%. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
