Descending Triangle

India

A descending triangle forms when price makes lower highs against flat support, as sellers press harder on each rally. It is usually read as bearish, and a close below support signals the breakdown. This screen lists stocks on the Bombay Stock Exchange where a descending triangle pattern was identified on one of the last five bars, most actively traded first. Prices are in Indian rupees, and the list covers BSE-listed stocks with at least 50 million rupees in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(bse) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 50 and (desc_triangle)@[0..4] and sortby(advol(5), desc) and show(advol(5) as turnover_5d_m)
