Sector leaders are the stocks that outperform their own sector, the names fund managers rotate into when money flows to the group. The Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) tracks the large consumer discretionary companies of the S&P 500, so beating XLY means beating the sector itself. This list shows NYSE and Nasdaq consumer discretionary stocks whose price gain over the last month (21 trading days) is greater than that of XLY, the top 100 by one-month gain, with the lead over XLY in percentage points. Penny stocks and illiquid names are excluded.
