Bull Flag

India

A bull flag is a sharp rise, the flagpole, followed by a short, orderly pullback against the trend. Momentum traders buy the breakout from the flag for a continuation move. This screen lists stocks on the Bombay Stock Exchange where a bull flag pattern was identified on one of the last five bars, most actively traded first. Prices are in Indian rupees, and the list covers BSE-listed stocks with at least 50 million rupees in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(bse) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 50 and (flag)@[0..4] and sortby(advol(5), desc) and show(advol(5) as turnover_5d_m)
