The fund puts the vast majority of its money into collateralized loan obligations, or CLOs. These are financial structures backed by pools of business loans ? including secured, unsecured, and lower-rated debt ? that generate returns through floating or fixed interest payments. The fund takes a concentrated approach, meaning it holds fewer investments than a typical diversified fund.
