This fund puts at least 90% of its money into stocks that make up a specific index. That index tracks around 120 smaller U.S. companies from the S&P SmallCap 600, selected because their stock prices have been the most stable over the past year. The index is built and managed by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC following a strict set of rules.
