This fund gives investors access to the S&P 500 Index by holding exchange-traded funds that track it. At least 80% of the fund's assets are kept in investments tied to the S&P 500 under normal conditions. Because the fund concentrates its holdings rather than spreading them broadly, it carries a higher level of risk than a diversified fund would.
