This fund tracks a broad index of U.S. dollar-denominated bonds, covering government debt, corporate bonds, mortgage and asset-backed securities, and emerging market bonds, each with a minimum one-year maturity. At least 80% of the fund's assets are invested directly in the bonds that make up this index.
