Business Description

Texas Pacific Land Corporation owns and manages a large stretch of land in the Permian Basin, one of the most active oil and gas regions in the United States. The company earns income by granting access rights to its land for pipelines, power lines, and energy infrastructure, while also collecting royalties from oil and gas production across roughly 224,000 net royalty acres. Alongside its land operations, the company supplies water and manages wastewater for energy producers in the region, covering everything from sourcing to disposal. Founded in 1888 and based in Dallas, Texas, it is one of the oldest land-holding companies in the country.
