This fund puts the vast majority of its money into a wide range of bonds and other debt investments, regardless of their credit rating. These holdings can include U.S. government bonds, inflation-protected securities, municipal bonds, and asset-backed securities, among others. Municipal bonds are capped at 20% of the total portfolio.
