Simon Property Group is one of the largest owners and operators of retail real estate in the world, with a portfolio spanning shopping malls, outlet centers, and mixed-use destinations across North America, Asia, and Europe. As of the end of 2024, the company held interests in 229 properties totaling 183 million square feet of space. Simon also holds a nearly 90% stake in Taubman Realty Group, which controls 22 large malls across the U.S. and Asia, and owns roughly a 22% share in Klépierre, a Paris-based company that operates shopping centers across 14 European countries.
