This fund puts nearly all of its money into stocks that make up the S&P 500 Consumer Staples Index. That index tracks companies within the broader S&P 500 that sell everyday products people regularly buy, such as food, beverages, and household goods. These companies are identified using a widely recognized global system for grouping businesses by industry.
