This fund puts the vast majority of its money into a select group of large and mid-sized U.S. companies that are considered good value investments. Unlike a standard index fund, it follows a structured set of rules to pick and weight those companies with the goal of delivering better overall returns than the broader Russell 1000 Value Index.
