This fund focuses on stocks that pay dividends, selecting and weighting them based on how much income they generate relative to their price. At least 80% of the fund's assets are kept in the same dividend-paying stocks that make up its underlying index. Because it concentrates its holdings rather than spreading them broadly, it carries a higher level of risk than more diversified funds.
