This fund puts nearly all of its money into the 100 biggest non-financial companies traded on the Nasdaq exchange, covering both American businesses and major foreign companies through depositary receipts. Because it tracks a single index rather than spreading investments broadly, it carries more concentrated risk than a typical diversified fund.
