This fund puts the vast majority of its money into stocks that make up a specialized index tracking high-quality, dividend-paying U.S. companies from the S&P 500. The index itself is built and maintained by Standard & Poor's Financial Services LLC, which selects holdings based on their financial strength and history of paying dividends to shareholders.
