The fund primarily puts money into municipal bonds and similar investments that allow investors to earn income without paying federal taxes. This includes a wide range of bond types, from short-term notes to variable rate instruments and lease obligations. At least 80% of the fund's available capital is directed toward these tax-exempt securities.
