Business Description

Pampa Energía S.A. is one of Argentina's largest energy companies, with operations spanning power generation, oil and gas production, petrochemical manufacturing, and the transportation of both electricity and natural gas. The company generates over 5,400 megawatts of electricity from thermal, hydroelectric, and wind sources, while also managing an extensive network of high-voltage power lines and gas pipelines that stretch across much of the country. Founded in 1945 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, it also produces chemicals such as styrene and synthetic rubber, and handles natural gas liquids processing on the Atlantic coast.
