To be included, each company must meet specific standards related to size, trading activity, financial strength, price stability, and dividend payouts. The fund's manager, O'Shares Investment Advisers LLC, sets and monitors these standards. In typical market conditions, at least 80% of the fund's money is invested directly in the companies that make up this index.
