This fund seeks to deliver twice the opposite of the daily performance of a mid-size U.S. company stock index. To achieve this, at least 80% of its assets are directed toward positions that move against the index, using leverage to amplify results. Because it concentrates its holdings rather than spreading them broadly, the fund carries a higher level of risk than a typical diversified investment.
