The fund primarily holds municipal bonds that generate income free from federal income tax, with at least 80% of its assets committed to this strategy. This requirement is locked in place and can only be altered with shareholder approval. The fund also has the flexibility to place its entire portfolio in municipal bonds that may fall under the federal alternative minimum tax.
