Business Description
This fund follows the S&P 500 by investing in large U.S. companies whose stocks have been screened for compliance with Islamic financial principles using the Russell IdealRatings system, which is based on standards set by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions. The fund does not spread its holdings across a wide range of investments and simply mirrors the index rather than actively selecting stocks.
