TPG Mortgage Investment Trust Inc. is a New York-based company that invests in a range of home and commercial loans as well as mortgage-backed securities across the United States. As a real estate investment trust, it avoids most federal corporate income taxes by paying out at least 90% of its taxable earnings to shareholders. Originally founded in 2011 as AG Mortgage Investment Trust Inc., the company was renamed in December 2025 and now operates as part of TPG Inc.
