Business Description
This fund puts the majority of its money into a broad range of bonds and similar debt investments, using tools like futures and swap agreements where appropriate. Most of the holdings are in higher-quality, investment-grade debt, though up to 15% can be placed in lower-rated, higher-yield bonds as assessed by major credit rating agencies or by PIMCO itself.
