Gladstone Land Corporation is a publicly traded real estate investment trust focused on buying and owning farmland across major U.S. agricultural regions. The company holds 150 farms covering around 103,000 acres across 15 states, growing both seasonal crops like berries and vegetables and long-term crops such as almonds, pistachios, and wine grapes. A significant portion of its farmland is certified organic or moving in that direction. Since going public in January 2013, the company has paid shareholders a monthly cash distribution every single month without interruption.
