This is a focused stock fund that typically holds between 20 and 30 companies at a time, with most of its money going into large, well-known businesses spread across different industries. Up to a fifth of the fund can be placed in overseas companies that trade on U.S. markets. Unlike most funds, it does not spread its holdings widely, meaning a smaller number of positions carry more weight.
