The fund keeps at least 70% of its assets in high-quality bonds, either formally rated as investment grade or judged to be of similar quality by the fund's advisers. No more than 30% of assets can be held in lower-rated bonds. The fund may also place up to 25% of its assets in foreign bonds, including government and agency debt.
