Japan Hotel REIT Investment Corporation (JHR) is a Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed real estate investment trust focused exclusively on hotel properties across Japan. Founded in 2005 and formed in its current shape through a 2012 merger, JHR invests in hotels that serve both domestic travelers and international visitors, targeting locations with strong long-term tourism demand. Since the merger, JHR has grown steadily through eleven capital raises and the acquisition of 36 additional properties, bringing its total portfolio to 51 hotels with a combined value of approximately 453 billion yen. Asset management is handled by Japan Hotel REIT Advisors Co., Ltd.
