This fund puts the vast majority of its money into municipal bonds that allow California residents to earn income free from both federal and state personal income taxes, with no exposure to the federal alternative minimum tax. Its holdings may include debt securities from government bodies, U.S. government-affiliated issuers, and select private borrowers.
