This fund aims to mirror the returns of mid-sized U.S. companies that are classified as value stocks within the S&P MidCap 400 Index. It does this by purchasing the same stocks that make up the index in roughly the same proportions. The goal is to closely match the index's performance rather than actively select individual investments.
