Business Description
This fund puts at least 80% of its assets into stocks that make up its benchmark index, which tracks companies based and traded in India. A currency hedging strategy is built in to protect investors from shifts in the exchange rate between the Indian rupee and the U.S. dollar. The index was designed by WisdomTree, which also owns the fund's management company. Because the fund is non-diversified, it may hold a smaller number of positions than a typical investment fund.
